Transmit, give, share, entrust. From mother to daughter, from woman to woman, from hand to hand. At Comptoir, transmission is a foundation that we strive to maintain. That philosophy is shared by Uèle, a prodigal music conductor and an inspired young woman, and Aurélie, a ceramic artist with magic fingers and feminine know-how.
UÈLE LAMORE
Her name is romantic and she looks like a movie star. This conductor who admits being a bit of a geek listens to rap and electronic music, and loves to spend hours watching wildlife documentaries. Uèle Lamore is never where you expect her to be and that’s great, as surprise fits her like a glove. We met up with her.
AURÉLIE
Aurélie is a ceramist. At her little home on the outskirts of Paris, she has set up her atelier on the ground floor: from floor to ceiling legged-bowls, friendly-faced cups and flat plates are intermingled with porcelain masks; a fantastical and lyrical atmosphere that reflects the lady of the house.
